Troy elmore 6.8 Raven 19 3.4 x 2 11/16

A pendulum style of surfing

When riding a single fin, you use more of a pendulum style of surfing.  You feel a slight delay for maneuvers to develop.  Expect smooth arcing turns to be more fluid and flowing with a bigger emphasis on form and style.  It rewards you when you're moving more smoothly and it punishes you when you're moving abruptly.  You get nice unbroken sweeping turns that you don't get with multi-fin boards.  Overall, it's just a cleaner, more glide oriented style of surfing.

The raven features a retro round pintail, like the original teardrop shape.
A slight variation of the pintail design, rounded pintails are more versatile because of the more smoothed out bottom, as opposed to the pintails more rigid curve and pointed tip. Because of this, rounded pintails generate less reduction of the surface area, which enables it to manage moderate surf heights compared to the high (double overhead +) waves suited for the standard pintail. Still the pulled in tails help to control speed and fit more snugly into the curves of a steeper and/or more hollow wave face.

It’s got an old school turned-down beak nose, and has a 60/40 rail that is turned down the farther you go towards the tail. It has a flat bottom with vee in the tail. very mild rocker for speed and easier paddling.

this board has a great sand finish with a stylish yellow resin tint.
