A board that changed history

Wayne Lynch burst in to the Australian surfing scene in the 60s and rode a wave like no one else. He opened up fresh possibilities with a radically new vertical surfing style, while shaping his own boards in the process. After 40 years an original 1968 Evolution board found its way back to its creator Wayne Lynch. Passing the board along to the youth of today, Belinda Baggs rides the board reliving the legacy of Wayne. Her graceful dancer approach inspired Wayne to recreate the original design using modern design theories of today. The outcome couldn’t be more beautiful. Enjoy the glide.
